i don't know whether to laugh
or cry.
it seems sad enough to squeeze
tears from a marble statue
yet
funny enough to bring
a smile from archie bunker.

i saw her,
i acted
the only way i know how.
she reacted.

all in perfect accordance with
Newton's Third Law.
